Mucka is AI job management and gas certificate software for UK heating, plumbing and HVAC firms. It runs the business around the jobs. It is built for one industry on purpose, and suits owner-run firms from a single van up to a whole team of engineers.
Owners and engineers can type to Mucka, talk to it in the app, ring it or message it on WhatsApp. Ask for a quote, an invoice, a certificate or a diary change and it gets drafted. Nothing it prepares goes to a customer until the owner approves it.
Certificates Digital CP12s and Landlord Gas Safety Records, Gas Warning Notices, service and breakdown records, gas testing and purging to IGEM/UP/1B Edition 4, commissioning records and unvented hot water (G3) records. Also LPG and non-domestic gas, all five OFTEC oil forms, F-Gas leak checks and AC records, heat pump service and commissioning records, and Legionella risk assessments. Certificates work with no signal and upload when the phone reconnects. They start from the job in one tap, pre-filled from the property's appliances and tenant. Engineers can scan the boiler data plate and the flue gas analyser screen instead of typing. Landlord and tenant copies go out separately. Gas rate, ventilation, pipe sizing, installation volume and heat loss calculators are built in.
Service reminders Each certificate's next-check date goes straight into service reminders. Reminders go by text and email, with an optional chase-until-booked sequence for landlords. A reminder books in as a linked job, and finishing that job schedules next year's. Area days let the owner pick an area and a day, and Mucka offers the customers due there times that fit around work already booked. Monthly service plans can be collected by Direct Debit.
Quotes, invoices and money Quotes and invoices by voice, text or WhatsApp, priced from the firm's own price list. Customers can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Pay by Bank. Payments sync to Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and FreeAgent on every paid plan. Overdue invoice reminders can run on their own, and quote follow-ups are drafted for approval.
Scheduling and the team A live diary, engineer tracking and running-late alerts. The Mucka Engine watches jobs, engineers, the schedule and money, flags what needs attention (an unsent invoice, an overdue certificate, a quote going cold) and drafts the fix for one-tap approval. Subcontractor seats are free.
AI phone receptionist Answers calls in the business's name, takes messages, flags gas smells and major leaks straight away, can put callers through to a person, and pencils jobs into the diary for the owner to approve. It never books firm and never takes payment. Mucka can also ring a customer when the owner asks, about one specific thing such as an overdue invoice or confirming an appointment, and report back what they said. It never cold calls.
